BREAKING

President Michael D Higgins has caused a major international incident, with the Bishop of Ondo accusing him of 'rubbing salt in the wounds' of terror victims by falsely claiming that Climate Change had been a motivating factor in last week's Nigerian Pentecost Massacre.

This was Higgins's full statement after the massacre in the Nigerian a Catholic church.

It's UN policy to conflate inconvenient terror attacks with climate change (which Ireland has already agreed to do), so Higgins regarded the massacre as an opportunity to get some good boy points and political clout for the team, but he botched it badly. He needed to be much more subtle or wait.

Part of the problem is that people like Higgins regard Africans as their pet playthings โ€” a tool to serve their agenda, so it's instinctual to take any calamity involving Africans and look for a way to advantage themselves. Clearest example is the term BLM spiking in google trends every time the Democrats in America need to win an election.

Nobody has claimed responsibility for the massacre in Nigeria but everyone suspects Islamosavagery. But they can't blame the massacre on incompatible ideologies living under one govt as that's a UN goal, so they blame climate change. Doubt they care what the bishop thinks about it too.

Ireland is a land of too many "welcomes" and too many goodbyes. The toleration of mass-exodus and mass-immigration as normal economic expedients, has doomed our country to cycles of self-destruction. Amongst ourselves we could fight for a better Ireland. But again and again, the Irish state tears out the heart of Ireland and lets it bleed out on the ground. A land of strangers and estrangement is of little threat to the governing consensus. Transience of capital and labour are obstacles placed in the path of nationhood. nationalparty.ie/join

Liveline continued the discussion on transgenderism yesterday. You can listen back to the full show here (skip to 2:50). Worth reading the comments under the hashtag #liveline while you're listening.

First up was Brian whose lesbian teenage daughter was called transphobic and bigoted for turning down the advances of translesbian. Brian was matched-up in a debate against the "gender-fluid non-binary" Catriona whom he was well prepared to handle.

Brian said sex is not assigned at birth, it's observed and accused Catriona of scientific illiteracy for claiming sex is a spectrum. He blamed the rise in transgender youth on "social contagion" while Catriona argued it was just liberalism enabling people to be who they always were.

Duffy let him speak without haranguing him just like he did for the callers on last week's show.

That they invited him on at all is revealing as often if RTร‰ facilitate a debate on a tricky subject, they'll try to only invite on people who badly represent the side they oppose.

During the lockdown, for example, they invited some sort of cult member who was opposed to taking the covid19 vaccines on Satanic grounds which enabled RTร‰ to have their 'vaccine debate' while suggesting to listeners that vaccine sceptics were just fringe crackpots. Duffy is in his element with those types of shows and got rewarded with a triumphant write-up in the media for that one.

RTร‰'s research staff heavily screen any member of the public they invite on for narrative control so inviting Brian on was deliberate. They knew he was articulate and well capable of defending himself and that his arguments would be cushioned by being the single father a lesbian daughter.

Like I said last week, Duffy's production team must be on board questioning issues around transgenderism, and they've been given the all clear from the higher-ups.

At one point, in response to criticism he received for the last show from trans activists, Duffy even stated that "the powers that be at RTร‰ have not told anyone to stop this discussion". That means there are discussions they do tell presenters not to have, but not this one.

After the segment with Brian, a college lecturer came on who went into great detail about why "gender identity theory" is like a new State religion. It was probably the best segment. She said being forced to accept that a man can turn into a woman was no different being forced to accept that the Eucharist is the body & blood of Christ.

"There's a requirement for faith in gender identity theory which cannot be empirically proven."

She said people with other perspectives on transgenderism should be listened to without being accused of blasphemy and that people questioning transgender dogma are being treated like heretics and are scared to speak up.

Just to demonstrate the rupture this has all caused, after Thursday's show, the Irish Council for Civil Liberties tweeted out that it had been incredibly irresponsible for RTร‰ to broadcast it.

Ordinarily RTร‰ and the ICCL are two components of the same organism with a shared agenda, but this has put them at loggerheads with Duffy calling the ICCL's remarks disturbing and insulting to the staff and listeners. He also said he was unable to get a response from the ICCL when he tried to contact them.

That means they're unsure how to proceed. They didn't tweet anything about today's show and stuck to just retweeting remarks by a new transgender focused NGO at their launch meeting.

The government are getting ready to implement hate speech laws which would make a lot of the statements made throughout the show illegal to broadcast. They have LGBT strategies which treat sexuality and gender identity in the same bracket. That puts them in a bind if this trans opposition keeps brewing.

One of the regime's hall monitors used my last post to try to warn them that facilitating these debates is damaging them. He was ratioed but he's right, but what was damaging is that they all rowed in behind transgenderism, no questions asked in the first place.

Article from the college lecturer who compared gender identity theory to a new State religion on Liveline yesterday:

>Although there is no concept of the divine in gender identity theory, there are elements that could be considered religious. There are symbols, chants, flags, parades, and โ€˜holyโ€™ days. There is a belief in what could be termed transubstantiation where the substance of the body is believed to change from one sex to another. A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul.

>The idea of a heretic or infidel is also relevant. People and organisations who donโ€™t subscribe to gender identity theory, or who publicly criticise or even question it, have been denounced or ostracised, and products and publications boycotted. Detransitioners, who no longer subscribe to the theory, are akin to apostates.

The same methods are used to impose replacement levels of immigration. We're told that foreigners can become Irish by giving them a piece of paper with a harp in the corner and that being Irish is a feeling. Opponents and critics are denounced as bigots and racists by our new priest class and their followers. They're ostracised and censored causing people to be fearful to speak up.

The Countess organisation commissioned a Red C poll on trans related issues.

Just 17% of respondents believe a person should be allowed to change their birth cert as soon as they self-identify as the opposite sex (that's the current Irish law).

26% believe they should only be allowed to change their birth cert once they've had genital surgery and taken hormones.

8% want them to have taken steps towards genital surgery & begun taken hormones.

21% don't know.

They call it surgery here but what it really is is mutilation. The end result not a sex organ. It might as well have been carved out of turnip with a spade. I'm not sure those who were polled understand that. They probably haven't seen the pictures or read the regret stories. Conditioning a birth cert change on mutilation encourages the practice.

28% believe they should never be able to change their gender. That's the smart choice. You could perhaps afford them a third option of 'transgender'.

49% of respondents believe children should be taught that it is possible to be born in the wrong body at school (42% of parents polled agreed).

47% believe children should be taught that there are many different genders outside of male/female (41% of parents polled agreed).

40% believe children should be taught it is possible to change your sex at school (37% of parents polled agreed).

This is where the problems are being germinated.

At least the majority of parents don't believe kids should be taught that they can change their sex, but it's a slim enough margin (44% opposed vs 37% in support and 19% don't know).

Large percentage of respondents on all questions are uncertain. A lot more discussion is needed which why they're so scared of it.

There are more people who believe transwomen should be allowed in female prisons and female rape crisis centres than there are people who believe transwomen should be allowed to participate women's sports.

They're in the minority in all cases however.

For the purpose of Irish law, a transwoman is any man who says they're a woman.

This could be explained because the sports issue has dominated the media over the prison/rape centre issue, I think.

I've seen Graham Linnehan joke that he didn't expect sports to be the issue to exercise the masses on transgenderism, but he'd take it.
