Melvin Properties Ltd and Ketut Ltd looking to cash in on the Ukrainian situation.

They have applied for planning permission to construct "an emergency temporary accommodation campsite" consisting of 569 detached, single storey two bedroom chalets on 15 hectares of land in the village of Laytown, co. Meath for a period of 5 years.

Ancillary services like water, sewage etc will be developed. No schools or GPs though...

The site had been zoned for employment use.

5 years, mar dhea ๐Ÿ˜

It'll be full of Nigerians, Georgians and Pakistanis in no time to cope with the next "emergency" while they await their amnesty.

Another Mosney.

Hotelier Lorraine Sweeney tells Pat Kenny that a huge problem contributing to the shortage of hotel rooms is the massive number of economic migrants coming to Ireland.

"They've been to Italy or they've been to Estonia and they've heard Ireland is better. The Job Seekers' Benefit is higher. In Estonia, you get โ‚ฌ9.50 per day dole and here in Ireland, it's substantially more. You get accommodation. You get good schooling. You get a medical card upon arrival. And what my concern at the moment is that it's good to take people from war-torn Ukraine, but we should not be accepting people from other countries who have settled there for two or three months, and they've a better offer here in Ireland."

Pat Kenny quickly moved on.

At least one hotel has had to remove Ukrainians to make room for the increase in asylum seekers from other other countries this year.

"Not enough doctors to cope with influx of Ukrainian refugees, GP says"

The Irish Times decided to edit that part out of their article but the twitter embed had already caught it. Ukraine is no longer mentioned in the report at all. The Examiner reported on it though.

>"The biggest challenge is recruiting GPs to do this work,โ€ she said.

Some doctors are working 36 hour shifts and 70 hour weeks.

Meanwhile in Australia, official figures show a total of 531 Irish doctors were resident during the period December 31st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022.

One tweet I saw last week: A mother said 13-year-old daughter has been suffering from nose bleeds and dizziness.

She received a letter from Tullamore hospital putting her on the waiting list for an appointment in 249 weeks time (4.7 years). She will be 18.

First time I've heard Rotherham mentioned on Irish radio.

IHREC want the gardaรญ to record data on the ethnicity of people in stop & searches.

They don't seem interested in collecting data on the ethnicity of people throughout the entirety of the justice system process. Data like that would reveal whether some groups are committing a higher proportion of certain types of crimes. This would be useful information to gather, but IHREC are only interested in the data on stop & searches.

If for example, it can be shown that Africans or Travellers are searched more frequently than other groups, this can be used to claim a 'racial bias' on behalf of the gardaรญ. This is useful to IHREC.

At 4:03 Ciara Kelly asks Sinรฉad Gibney whether there is a danger in doing things like this that you would see a situation like Rotherham where a grooming ring of paedophiles were overlooked as they weren't white, and people were afraid of being accused of racism.

You already know Gibney's answer.

Globalisation is jobs going to where the cheapest labour force is, or the cheap labour going to where the jobs are. Nationalism is Irish jobs for Irish people. nationalparty.ie/join

Reminder to follow this channel on Odysee, they've done stellar work gathering up a ludicrous amount of documentaries about Ireland and the history, culture, and literally God knows what else that has been accumulated by them.

I know myself from their previous incarnation as a youtube channel it's a vault of information, and worth a signup on odysee alone if you aren't signed up already (no plug for odysee, but it's great too tbf)

Anyway, that channel is genuinely excellent and I ask yiz all to give them a follow, share, whatever, because its a repository, and we need the repositories these days.

Keep the stories coming and keep them in a format we can share.

Latest immigration figures from Dr Matt Treacy:

The total number of new PPS numbers issued between January 1 and May 31 of this year was 129,634.

๐Ÿ”น 25,458 were newly registered births.

๐Ÿ”น 99,302 were to persons of โ€œother than Irish nationality,โ€ including 34,962 from Ukraine.

That means even had there been no war in Ukraine, 68% of new PPS numbers would have still been issued to persons of other than Irish nationality.

According to Economics Professor Ronan Lyons at Trinity College, every extra 10,000 migrants require on average 4,000 new dwellings, principally in the cities.

Ukrainians aside, the migrants issued PPS numbers this year require 25,736 homes.

Meanwhile the government's โ‚ฌ450 million Croรญ Cรณnaithe scheme aims to deliver just 5,000 apartments by 2026, yet few can still afford them.

There's your housing crisis.

Shahid Ali makes some good points here.

These Muslims are protesting the movie The Lady of Heaven outside Cineworld in Bradford (24.7% Muslim population officially).

Ali says the film has insulted Muslims and that they have a right not be insulted. Now where did he get that idea? ๐Ÿค”

The comments are full of British people attempting to correct Ali โ€” that the UK has freedom of speech and that there is no right not be insulted. But they're wrong as the case of Alison Chabloz proves.

Chabloz was convicted for writing three songs which district judge, John Zani, said he was satisfied were grossly offensive and that Chabloz intended to insult Jewish people. Chambloz has a different perspective on WW2 like the makers of this film have a different perspective on Islamic history to these protesting Muslims.

If the Campaign Against Antisemitism are allowed to take offence at her art on behalf of Jewish people and have her prosecuted, why can't these Muslims do likewise?

Rory Hearne โ€” the regime's poster boy for approved opposition on housing policy.

Hearne's function is to ignore that the high rate of immigration obviously impacts the housing market. That's why the hedge funds invest in property. The govt intends to import another 500k migrants by 2040. It's the basic principle of supply & demand. Hearne will never admit that.

Here he deliberately refers to 'blaming refugees' to double the sin and take the heat off the migrant industry when refugees are only a miniscule component of the problem. The vast majority of asylum seekers fail their application. They've been facilitated to abuse the asylum system. Hearne has said nothing. Sinn Fรฉin have said nothing. That's who is responsible.

Hearne sits in front of Connolly, a man who did object to Ireland accepting refugees because immigrants, Connolly believed, undermined the labour market. Connolly fought for an Ireland which serves Irish people. Hearne would have called him racist.
