A video made by Mike Connell in March was discussed on Claire Byrne Live last night.
TD Cathal Crowe has made a complaint against the video which Connell made in response to Crowe's support of the State impeding the Irish Freedom Party's ability to voice their concerns and operate.
A London Times report revealed the party's chairman had filed an objection against Crowe's plans to block a right-of-way in Cratloe.
On a recent stream, Connell said (at 14:40) he is also being investigated for his 'Dear Taoiseach' video under "Coco's law" which the govt originally sold as an anti-cyberbullying law in response to a young woman's suicide.
Connell, who retired from the Defence Forces after 21 years service last year, says he typically finishes his videos with a gun-shot sound effect which the investigations might centre on.
Connell appears to be quite libertarian-spirited and eager to challenge any laws limiting the freedom of expression, so It'll be an interesting case to watch.

Why is someone who spreads the great replacement conspiracy theory allowed to headline a festival in support of diversity?
Because they're its biggest cheerleaders.

Justice Minister Helen McEntee has decided to permit migrants to apply for 5-year multi-entry short-stay visas. Previously 5-year visas were only offered to Chinese citizens since 2019 when the government sought to increase the export market for milk and beef to China.
McEntee suggested it was a response to the effects Covid restrictions had on international travel.
"This will make travelling to Ireland a more convenient and attractive option at a time when travel worldwide is resuming and our tourism industry, in particular, is reopening following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic."
Weren't we supposed to be disincentivising frequent flights now to save the climate...?
Migrants will be able to come and go at their leisure, and if they stay one day in Ireland per year, they can then apply for Irish citizenship after five years, no other criteria required (three if they have a child here).
Very convenient.
