The chutzpah of Mark Malone retweeting: "Censorship by Big Tech is the greatest threat to Free Speech today." 🤣
Malone is so concerned about Big Tech censorship he co-founded "The Far Right Observatory" in 2018 "as a result of an observable increase in online organising around anti migrant, Islamophobia, anti feminism, and trans/homophobia following the successful Repeal the 8th campaign."
When Mark Zuckerberg came to Dublin in 2019 to make sure his tax avoidance scheme was all in order, this outfit ensured Zuck was personally handed a briefing document with over 40 facebook pages they wanted him to censor.
They've received state funding, of course.

The Doolough Tragedy is an event that took place during the Great Irish Famine close to Doo Lough in Mayo.
On Friday 30 March 1849 two officials of the Westport Poor Law Union arrived in Louisburgh to inspect those people in receipt of outdoor relief to verify that they should continue to receive it. The inspection, for some reason, did not take place and the two officials went on to Delphi Lodge – a hunting lodge – 19 kilometres south of Louisburgh where they intended to spend the night. The people who had gathered for the inspection were instructed to appear at Delphi Lodge at 7 AM if they wished to continue receiving relief. For much of the night and day that followed hundreds of destitute and starving people had to undertake an extremely fatiguing journey, in very bad weather.
The Mayo Constitution reported afterwards that the bodies of 7 people were found on the roadside between Delphi and Louisburgh beside the shores of Doolough lake and that many more never made it home.

A common hustle for regime insiders:
Gombeen man will snap up a derelict hotel which nobody wants except they've already winked on the deal for the State to dump a ton of asylum seekers in it once its purchased or rented out to them.
I remember this kip in Rosslare was put up on Daft. Within two weeks of the ad going up, an unnamed "guest house owner" had rented it out and the deal to stuff between 60 and 90 asylum seekers in it was announced in the Wexford People.
The Dept of Justice said they'd carry out renovations and bring the hotel back to working order as part of their deal.
Locals were fuming but the owner said he had no clue the guy he rented it to was going to sub-let it to the State for use as an asylum centre.
The deal was called off in the end because there was so much uproar, including from the owner.
There's so much public sympathy for the Ukrainians right now, that won't be possible so it's easy money.

A local woman from Macroom in Cork has released a phone call she made to gardaí asking them if they were aware that the Riverside Park Hotel on the Killarney Road, which is in use as an asylum centre since last year, is now a base for prostitutes.
"There is old men stopping outside the graveyard on the Killarney Road and the blacks are running across the road to have sex with them in their cars and then run back to the direct provision centre. This is lawless. This is absolutely disgusting."
"It's a bit ridiculous that our kids are being exposed to this uncivilised way of life inside in a town that we were born and reared, and they come in here and they think they can bend the rules to suit them, and they can take up this Sex Work Alliance. It's a disgrace, like....My eight year old daughter was exposed to it, like."
