Looking for a straight fact-check on the Azov Battalion, I turned to what I'd regard as the premier research centre on far-right extremism: The Institute for Strategic Dialogue.
I'm probably a little biased as the ISD have lauded my work as "highly influential," but I'm pretty sure if there's a whiff of anything far-right about Ukraine's military, they'll have sniffed it out and exposed them. That's what they do.
If you're unfamiliar with the terminology, a far-right extremist is any European opposed to the disenfranchisement of their national interests.
Long story short, there's zero mention of Azov in ISD's coverage, so this conspiracy theory mustn't even warrant a debunking.
It's likely being spread by the Kremlin as what I did learn is that Putin's endgame is to undermine something called "The Liberal World Order," and he's been building a massive information infrastructure to meddle in the politics of other nations and shape the minds of their populations for years.
Who does something like that?

The government should request the use of Ireland's 60,000 empty holiday homes to house the Ukrainian refugees according to housing policy analyst Lorcann Sirr.
And if empty homes aren't given up voluntarily, Dr Sirr said the State should acquire them on a compulsory basis.
"Building modular housing takes a lot of time. We have a huge number of empty houses in the country. The government should take the existing stock first.
"In 2020, the Government only built 4,700 new social houses. If we take in a minimum, 20,000 refugees, all that stock will be absorbed straight away.
"We also have to consider the promises made by the Government for those in need of social housing and the promises made to people in Direct Provision for housing. We're not going to build our way out of this.
"The smart thing to do is to use out existing housing stock, if that requires some kind of new legislation, well so be it."

No, no. That sort of thing wouldn't interest me at all.

>With the CIA now backing an insurgency that prominent former CIA officials are claiming will “spread across multiple borders,” the fact that the forces being trained and armed by the agency as part of this “coming insurgency” include Azov battalion is significant. It seems that the CIA is determined to create yet another self-fulfilling prophecy by breeding the very network of “global white supremacy” that intelligence officials have claimed is the “next” big threat after the Covid-19 crisis wanes.

🚨 It's a strong possibility that the diesel being delivered around the country at the moment is from the emergency supply which is about six to eight weeks worth.
🚙 🚗 The reason being, traffic has not returned to its pre-covid levels as a lot of people are still working from home, and the demand for diesel for agriculture is at its lowest point during the year.
⛈ Hedges have already been trimmed. There's been too much rain for spreading slurry, and it's too wet for ploughing, sowing and spraying etc.
⛽️ Yet, there's still a cap of 500 litres on any diesel delivery and they won't come and top up the tank. They just tell you they'll come by when you run out.
🙅♂️ Some small local villages have been reporting they've been out of fuel for a day or two during the week.
🚛 One diesel suppliers who've been in the industry for fifty years and collect diesel from Dublin port once or twice a week were out of diesel last week at some point. That has never happened before as they also have storage tanks on their own premises for holidays and emergencies etc.
😱 He has a feeling that in a few weeks time the country's fuel stocks could be depleted.
🇫🇷 He talked previously about two ships sailing under Russian flags transporting fertiliser to Ireland which would be turned away. At least one of those ships ended up docking in France.
🚢 A ship carrying Russian oil docked in Dublin Port last night. SIPTU called on the government to turn away the ship despite the shipment having already being paid for. Refusing it has no economic impact on Russia.

He did the usual police persecution routine when gardaí confronted him.
>When gardaí stopped him he was argumentative and reluctant to let them search him.
>He began shouting at members of the public, requesting they record what was happening.
>Bakekolo fled and attempted to enter a moving taxi on Liffey Street before running to the Ha’penny Bridge and attempting to throw the bag over into the Liffey.
The judge sentenced him to a €400 charity donation.

Forwarded from End The Lockdown Ireland
Fringe far-right conspiracy theorist Dr. John Campbell covers a peer-reviewed Brazilian study using 223,128 people demonstrating that the use of Ivermectin results in a 70% reduction in the mortality rate for covid-19.
There was also a 67% reduction in the hospitalisation rate.
He believes there might be a profit motive in the suppression of its use and in the silence from the media on its effectiveness.
"The evidence just seems to powerful, present and overwhelming. How do you argue with a number like that?"
What a total nutter.
