As related by a farmer (audio here):

๐Ÿšœ Tractor diesel has gone up 40 cents a litre in 24 hours with more increases to come, while fuel deliveries have been capped at 500 litres.

That's a fill each for two tractors or about a week's work if you're economical with it.

๐Ÿš› One haulier he knows runs five or six lorries hauling gravel for cement and construction firms. He's parking his lorries at the end of the month as the fuel bill went from โ‚ฌ6.5K a week to โ‚ฌ11k and is probably โ‚ฌ14k now.

โ›ฝ๏ธ The fuel depots around the country (which are all on the coast) are running low or empty.

๐Ÿšข There were restricted sailings out of Dublin port yesterday as ships didn't have enough fuel.

Two tankers of Russian fuel have been refused entry in the last couple of days.

๐Ÿž While the Minister of Agriculture has twigged there could be a food shortage problem, and he is trying to get farmers to grow more grain, it's too late as that would have had to have been planned with seed, fertiliser and crop rotation last year.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ There are two shipments of fertiliser on the way to Ireland (6,000 tonnes each). One is coming from Egypt and another from further away, but both ships are sailing under Russian flags, and so both will be refused entry.

This isn't a problem for the ships as they'll easily find some other country who'll have the cop-on to take it, and they can charge what they like.

๐Ÿฅ› There's a very distinct possibility that as a lot of milk processing plants have switched to gas (as it's far more efficient), some farmers will start being told to dump their milk as it can't be processed.

Absorbing high costs is one thing, but if your product can't be got off the farm after spending that money, bankruptcy follows.

๐Ÿ’ถ His prediction: The price of whatever food is available on their bare shelves will be going mental.

Ireland is a country run by children playing in a sand box.

Plant a garden.

Clare Daly says the GAE's mind control system is frightening after attack on European Parliament offices.

As I mentioned previously, Wallace & Daly are in the process of being cancelled for attempting to add some context to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and for questioning the plan to maximise the civilian death count for the propaganda effort.

There are no double standards, Ibrahim.

The majority of asylum seekers in Direct Provision are fraudulently abusing the asylum system. They fail their claims but never go home, occupying space and stealing resources that could go to real refugees.

Ireland now has deal with a sudden influx of potentially 150,000+ refugees from a real war zone. There's a huge amount of logistics required, and you're here whining about the free accommodation, heating, food, health-care, education and dole money we lay on for what are mostly swindlers who just come here to abuse Irish people's generosity.

How many Ukrainian refugees are Muslim countries taking in?

From the new 2022 Census form. They want to know how many rooms are in your home. This is likely connected to the referendum on right to housing, which seeks to delimit your private property rights. Basically the state can potentially force migrants to live with you or "right size" you, which is to say, force you out of your house and into smaller accommodation if they believe your home is too large because you have too many unoccupied spare bedrooms. The right to housing bill will turn all private property into housing stock owned by the state. You will no longer own your home. It goes without saying that the millionaire and billionaire class with their multiple mansions and villas with dozens of bedrooms will be unaffected. These measures are only designed to impact upon the working and middle class.

I can definitely see this happen.

The right to housing bill is essentially the end of private property in Ireland. Dont believe me? Here's the bill and the most important line.

"The State, accordingly, shall delimit the right to private property where it is necessary to ensure the common good and to vindicate the said right to housing for all residents of Ireland."

If this ends up as a referendum in its current form (throw in some media/pr manipulation to emotionally manipulate people) and it will be the most dangerous referendum ever to hit this country. Once again, spearheaded by the FG government, who have contributed substantially to the decline in Ireland since 2011.
