A 28-year-old migrant from Syria of Armenian origin attacked a 62-year-old woman, inflicting several dozen stabs on the already lying victim.
She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and urgently operated on. The perpetrator fled, but some time later was found and arrested.

According to some reports, a possible motive for the crime is the refusal to receive benefits from the Austrian Employment Service, as a result of which the migrant chose the first person he met as a victim.

His dream was to craft a system "distinctly Irish in complexion" for the betterment of an Irish nation.
