“It is comical to see people march the streets to bemoan the destruction of local night spots when large parts of the inner city are majority non-Irish. If demography has no value then bricks and mortar have no value. Since “Irishness” is relative, it is a continuum of nothingness. Community is planetary. The local is global. We live in a society of strangers. Buildings are just investment opportunities for oligarchs. Home, like homeland, is an outmoded form. People from nowhere belong nowhere. The Dublin that so outrages Una Mullally is the Dublin she deserves. A garrison city of multinational headquarters and rental developments for single people.”

A fundraiser from the Kevin Barry Memorial Committee Finglas.
Last year former Lord Mayor Hazel Chu launched a Sculpture Dublin initiative to commission six new sculptures for parks and public spaces across Dublin with a budget of €600,000.
One park selected was Kildonan Park in Finglas.
948 out of 1134 households in the surrounding area of Kildonan Park signed a petition to erect a statue to honour Kevin Barry. 184 were not in, and just two refused.
Sculpture Dublin, Dublin City Council and all local Councilors chose to either ignore or reject this proposal despite having stressed that the local community would have a say in what goes into the park.
Instead, they erected this eyesore.
Kevin Barry Memorial Committee Finglas have consequently decided to fund the Kevin Barry statue that the people of Finglas asked for themselves.

This video is from an Irish vlogger called Irish Partizan who lives in Belarus. I'm not too familiar with his content but the few clips I viewed left me with the impression that enjoys the absence of globohomogenisation there.
Not wishing to displease his hosts, he is perhaps limited in what he can say about the politics of the nation in general and in particular the current stand-off with migrants amassing at the border of Poland and Lithuania. However, he is perhaps touching on narratives circulating within Belarus and he makes one specific claim I hadn't heard...
You probably remember that in May a Ryanair plane from Greece to Lithuania was diverted so that authorities in Belarus could arrest an activist on board called Roman Protasevich on charges that he had organised mass riots and incited social hatred using the telegram channel @nexta_live which is based in Poland.
In response, the EU placed sanctions on Belarus:
• Belarusian airlines were to be banned from flying in EU airspace and EU airlines were also asked to avoid flying in Belarus airspace.
• The EU Council agreed to target Belarus with unspecified economic sanctions.
So Irish Partizan says the EU had up to this point been paying Belarus "to patrol its borders" in order to prevent migrants crossing into the EU. These payments were cut off as a result of the sanctions.
I've not seen this claim made in any media report so am interested to learn its veracity as the current situation would make more sense.
Irish Partizan takes a 50,000 foot view that ultimately the migrant situation can be blamed on those responsible for the destabilisation of the Middle East (he names the USA and NATO). To some extent that's true, but the migrants are not just coming from the Middle East.
As a journalist for Counter Currents who visited Belarus recently reported, well-dressed Africans smelling of expensive cologne "who look more like soldiers of fortune than refugees" are being allowed to fly into the country on tourist visas too and then shepherded towards the border. This would not be happening without Lukashenko's blessing. You can see footage of them on Poland's border here.
In Lithuania 3,000 new migrants arriving over the Belarussian border were registered in July of this year alone, compared to only 81 in the entire previous year.

Multiple sources are claiming that a male soldier who is currently serving in Lebanon awoke to discover himself being orally raped by a prominent male member of the Irish Defence Force's LGBT network "Defend With Pride".
The sources indicate that the rapist subsequently had several shades of shite kicked out of him.
There are currently no reports in the media about the incident.

The Irish Times has reported on the rape in Lebannon.
Notice they don't mention the rapist was a prominent member of the Irish Defence Force's LGBT network and most of the report is taken up with a pivot to discussing the bullying of women.
Apparently some of the facts regarding the sequence of events remained “murky” and no finding of guilt has been made against any party.
I guess the "believe all women" mantra doesn't extend to male victims of gay rights rapists.
They'll want to sweep this under the carpet as much as they can.

An asylum seeker blew himself up at a Liverpool hospital this week, with a Cathedral as his most likely target. The media studiously ignored that he was an asylum seeker because that doesn't suit their narrative.
Of course, to even suggest that any of this be properly debated here is under liberal fatwa. At least, by their dissimulation over the Liverpool bomber, they themselves recognise this. Hence you get the sanitised version of events what you read and hear on the mainstream media."

Retired soldier on the gay rape allegations against a prominent member of the Irish Defence Force's LGBT network:
"It has been speculated that due to the alleged perpetrator's position in the Defence Forces and indeed this person's history, that the events explained in the screenshot messages and confirmed by several sources on the ground, would quite simply be swept under the camouflage rug to save a national embarrassment.
"On the 15th of November, I received a message from Lebanon that the event, which was initially a story of an alleged sexual assault, has now been marked and recorded as a drunken brawl..."

British arms manufacturer leasing properties to the Irish State to use as social housing. So we have a British absentee landlord, the Irish State as middle-man, and a housing list stacked for foreign nationals. Ireland is being bought from under us.
EU now characterising mass immigration as a bioweapon. So why have EU member states been allowed to use it on their own populations?
