Amazing the amount pressure retirees, tourists and people switching to work from home put on housing.

"We have the most beautiful climate in the world, a climate which a wise national government could even improve by restoring the forests that once covered the island and broke the rainfall that comes in from the Atlantic ocean. We have a lively, quick minded, intelligent people, rich in soft kindliness, and graced with womanly beauty and manly vigour.

For centuries this people have been treated as outcasts in their own land, shut out from every chance of developing its resources, and ruled by an insolent class of land thieves and its followers."
It's all kicking off in Dublin tonight.

RTÉ's latest news correspondent. You can see why they hired him.

A natural fit.

These protests were 17 days apart.

Imagine the amount of journalism grads who would have applied to be RTÉ's latest news correspondent but Joseph Okoh here (who's been in the country for a hot minute) got the job on pure merit, like.

He was previously the focus of one of Sorcha Pollack's #NewToTheParish columns where he laughably claimed "I need to work twice as hard to get a job in Ireland" πŸ˜‚

He’d noticed the lack of diversity in the Irish media and hoped his previous experience in Nigeria and first-class honours degree would appeal to Irish employers, writes Sorcha...

Yeah, that's what it must have been so. 😏

John Waters on what globalism really means for Ireland.

"Far from being racist to oppose it, it's racist to impose it upon us."

After the internet was saturated with footage of Afghan men scrambling through the airport desperate to exit Kabul having abandoned their families, fair play to RTÉ for finding the one picture of women and children fleeing for their narrative jamming purposes.

Pat Kenny pressed science rockstar Luke O'Neill on the use of Ivermectin in treating Covid19 today.

Luke said it was incredible how many studies are out there about the inexpensive generic drug but the evidence just isn't there, you see.

He's awaiting the results a proper totally non-biased trial at Oxford University where the AstraZeneca vaccine was also developed. πŸ€”

One listener wrote in to say both he and his wife have been suffering three months of fatigue after being given that particular vaccine.

Luke said this demonstrated the sad truth of Long Covid that 5 to 10 percent of people will have some kind of persistent symptoms, you see.

When Kenny clarified it was the AstraZeneca vaccine they believed had caused the fatigue, Luke replied that you couldn't say one particular vaccine was causing the fatigue over any other, and that just a small number of people might suffer fatigue from vaccines which might go on for just a couple of weeks, you see.

The man had said three months.
It's a nice fantasy but the reality of the modern Irish pub is you're more likely going to be served by a stone-faced slav who's renting some cramped dive on Transient Street and all he's thinking about is the day he'll have enough money saved up to fook off back to Poland.

Starting to believe the theory Trump has been office the entire time using face-swapping technology or whatever.

We’re told the biggest victims in Afghanistan are women but the refugees look like this. Wouldn’t you at least expect the planes to be full of women?
Instead we get the rapists and, presumably, Afghanistan is turned into some sort of Asiatic Lesbos
