An activist for hate speech laws is to be arrested for incitement to hatred against traditionalist Catholic group SPPX Resistance.
Fiona O'Leary has written about harassing the group while out shopping in Aldi and gatecrashing their property near her home in Cork, an experience she said left her traumatised.
Here's a snippet from her blog:
>The American guy was very aggressive, insulting my appearance, telling me to shut my mouth.
>He made jokes about me wearing a mask and said the mouse by our feet wasn’t wearing one.
>I asked him if he had done 14 days quarantine from travelling from America as required for Covid19.
>He just laughed at me along with Ballini.
>My interview with Ballini didn’t go well.
>He refused to answer any questions, he was mostly sneering and laughing, especially when I voiced my concerns about his cult breaking Covid19 regulations.
>I am traumatised after visiting SSPX Resistance West Cork.
>I will fight to shut these awful people down.

Anti-SSPX Resistance activist Fiona O'Leary was arrested for harassment yesterday after performing a Britain First style raid on a priory belonging to migrants six miles from her home in Drimoleague, Cork.
O'Leary accuses the minority Christian group of spreading antisemitism and being "anti-liberalism," a strategy often employed by Tommy Robinson to oppose Muslim immigration in the UK.
Posing as a journalist, O'Leary took pictures of the raid for her blog. She had previously accosted the migrants while shopping in ALDI.
Supporter Leah Doherty said O'Leary was interrogated for five hours. She said her fingerprints were taken and she was coerced into giving a DNA sample under threat of further charges including incitement to hatred.
O'Leary described the arrest as horrific while TDs Paul Murphy & Mick Barry have both given her their support.
It's unknown if Rebel Media have contacted O'Leary with a job offer or whether her social media accounts will now be deleted for spreading hatred of a minority

An Garda Síochána have launched their new online hate crime reporting facility today.
Members of the public can submit hate crimes and non-crime hate incidents for the gardaí to investigate at the address below.
You don't have to be a victim of a hate crime or non-crime hate incident to report one and you can do so anonymously.
As I've previously mentioned, non-crime hate incidents are defined as "incidents that don't meet the threshold of a criminal offence".
All that matters is that someone perceives racism, bigotry or discrimination and gardaí are obliged to record it and investigate.

The authoritative 1896 biography of the Confederate Irish commander Owen Roe O'Neill by John Francis Taylor is now available on the site.

The biography records his military career under the Spanish army, including his heroic defence of the city of Arras in 1640 during the Franco-Spanish War, his triumphant return to Ireland, his reorganisation of the Ulster Army, and his victory at Benburb over the Covenanters.
His untimely death in 1649 coincided with internal dispute within the Confederates over a peace agreement with the English Royalists, which Owen Roe and the Papal Nuncio Giovanni Battista Rinuccini rejected, and the arrival of Cromwell and the English Parliamentarians, whose successful conquest of Ireland would put an end to the Confederate cause, and lead to the end of any hopes of Irish self-government or restoring the O'Neill dynasty.

Haven't been able to confirm whether this rally is really happening but O'Leary posted an update on her twitter account today which so far hasn't been banned.
She says gardaí know she's autistic but didn't care when she started crying, begging them not to take her DNA.
She also accuses the gardaí of hurting her when they pressed her fingers into the ink pad to take her fingerprints.
"They didn't break me so they made me suffer."
She hasn't revealed if she will continue her quest to shut down the minority Christian group SSPX Resistance.
