Curriculum Conniptions
Late Stage Ireland
Liveline devoted Tuesday's show to the topic of sexual content on the school curriculum.

There's an Irish parents group focusing on this issue with a blog here and a youtube channel here. In the first video, one of them mentions that all the hardcore stuff was written by feminists after there was an effort made to expose children to more female authors. That deserves analysis but isn't the subject of this post.

One of the books called “The Lauras” follows the journey of a transgender 15-year-old whose trip across America is interspersed with several graphic sexual scenes, including being forced to perform oral sex on a grown man.

Duffy can't see what all the fuss is about, reasoning that as there exists a report on child abuse committed by Catholic clergy members which anyone can read, graphic sexual content can be part of the curriculum.

Duffy is subsequently asked if he'd like to hear a passage from The Lauras which causes him to have a fit of conniptions.

Amazing that the far-right exerts so much power and influence that they impact a minister's decisions.

What he is really trying to avoid admitting is that if they zoned land for asylum swindlers, surrounding developments wouldn't sell well.

Better to sneak them into people's communities behind their backs.

The Hawthorn or Whitethorn, in modern Irish its "Sceath Geal" (Bright Thorn), in ogham its called "Huath" the letter "H".

It's different to the blackthorn, the Blackthorn flowers before the leaves grow, and the Hawthorn flowers after the leaves grow.

The Maguires, Kings of Fermanagh used to hold their Kings coronation under a specific Hawthorn tree in Fermanagh for hundreds of years.

They're tied into a plethora of myths, because the fairy folk live under them. A Fairy tree was cut down while a road was being built in south Donegal, the man who chopped down the tree was killed in a crash on that road a few years later and his daughters husband was also killed in a crash at the same spot years later.

The original plan for the Galway/Limerick motorway was delayed because a fairy tree would have had to been cut down, the tree is apparently where the Wee Folk of Munster would gather before they launched raids against the Connaught Fairys. The motorway was rerouted and the tree was left untouched.

Statistics Warn of Ireland’s Looming Demographic Cliff.

>This collapse in our birth rate as a nation is nothing short of catastrophic, and we are being sleep-walked into our own demise as a people whilst the Government plans to bring in four million more migrants within the next few decades, following the failed continental policy of trying to staunch the effects of an ageing population by absorbing migrants, hoping against hope that new migrant workforce will foot the bill for Irish pensions.

Gript is reporting that €112,500 in public money has been paid to the Far Right Observatory to monitor opponents of the neoliberal regime. The FRO is an anonymous collective of activists which came together in November 2018 although Mark Malone has admitted to being a member in a blog post, writing:

"We came together through a concern of observable increase in online organising around anti migrant, Islamophobia, anti feminism, and trans/homophobia following the succesful Repeal the 8th campaign."

In 2019, the FRO estimated there to be 120,000 opponents of replacement levels of immigration using facebook in Ireland (300,000 on youtube). Consequently when Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg visited the HQ of his European tax avoidance operation in Dublin, the FRO made sure he was personally handed a briefing document outlining the facebook pages they wanted him to censor.

The FRO's only public facing work consists of a Medium account with six blog posts about those they class as far-right, white nationalists, and/or anti-mask. The Equality Fund which gave the FRO the grant lists this page as the FRO's primary website.

The Department of Rural and Community Development told Gript they are satisfied the funding is in accordance with government policies.

Who is Making Money from Asylum Appeals?

"Rather typical in Irish public life is that what should be an elementary procedure ruling on what are for the most part bogus applications is frustrated by bureaucracy and a system that benefits multiple parties financially. "

'Brakes put on the Online Safety and Media Regulation bill' says Senator Micheál Carrigy after hearing submissions from the ICCL and Digital Rights Ireland to a Joint Committee.

This is the bill designed to a establish the new Media Commission to expand the state's regulation of the media to include online user generated content, but it goes way beyond regulating what they want to define as "hate speech". It also seeks to provide the framework to censor legal online content which a "reasonable person" would find "harmful".

To quote Lucy Michael at the start: "If you don't criminalise certain hate-speech, you have to regulate it in some way."

They're basically trying to ban Hazel Chu memes and anything the regime deems "disinformation" while still pretending to be liberals. They know people would just share the memes and info privately so they want to examine your DMs and cloud storage for wrong-think too.

The internet they envision would be as if the reddit Ireland mods were moderating everything.

>He sexually assaulted the women in front of her boyfriend and also forced her to perform sex acts in what Judge Peter Charleton said was the “most grievous sexual assault I have ever come across in my career”.

>During the trial the woman gave evidence how Piotrowski told her “he was going to kill my boyfriend first and make me watch.”

>“He was going to cut his penis off and then break my neck. He then said he would kill me first and pack my clothes to make it look like I was leaving my boyfriend.

The structural demand for housing is now projected to be to an annual average target of 47,000 per year up to 2029 according to the ESRI based on the premise of a high level of migration.

We need to build two Balbriggans a year so we can compete with infinity migrants, investment firms and our own government to live there.

Fear of overloading the sewage network???

We're well passed that mark. The Ringsend Sewage plant in Dublin Bay South has a capacity to treat waste water from a population of 1.64 million. The load entering the plant is from a population of 2.3 million.

The EPA has repeatedly highlighted that Ringsend plant is failing to meet national and EU treatment standards because waste water is discharged back into the environment from this overloaded plant.

Billions of litres of untreated waste water have overflowed from the plant into the Liffey estuary.

Consequently one in five people report feeling sick after swimming in Dublin Bay.

Half a billion euro has been earmarked to upgrade just the plant, never mind the sewage network leading to it.

I can just picture the ESRI report: Ireland needs more migrants to construct more sewage networks so we can import more migrants to build more houses for all the migrants moving here.

>“We fully respect the change made by the Irish people in the 2004 referendum; however, we believe that providing a shorter pathway to citizenship is the right thing to do for these children,” he said.

>“We are reducing the residency requirement from five years to three years.

Respecting the will of the people who voted in an overwhelming majority to oppose birth right citizenship would involve stopping the anchor baby racket, not facilitating it.

99% of deportation orders against children are NOT enforced. They're ultimately granted Irish citizenship.

That means their parents get citizenship too, and they understand this. When a deportation order is issued, the recipient is requested to self-deport. They aren't forced. They used to have to just stick it out until their child was five years old, now it's three.

The anchor baby racket never went away. You thought you voted to end it but you were ignored. This is liberal democracy.
