Irish lads fighting Africans in Muirhevnamore Park, Dundalk.
Not many details.
One account suggests around thirty Africans entered the park where a small number of Irish lads were already present. Then around forty Irish lads showed up.

Another angle showing part of the fight in Dundalk. There's been a suggestion that it started as result of a prior fight involving an African and a member of a Traveller family and there was possibly a stabbing beforehand that might be related.
Typically the media and politicians will seek to down play any incidents involving members of different diversity communities.
A few years back when some Afghans were attacked, the media blew the story up initially and many politicians and NGO types were eager to ramp up the anti-racism rhetoric in response until it was revealed on social media that it was Travellers who had attacked them. The story died subsequently.
As Africans are new to Ireland it will mean they understand little about Traveller culture as if they intend on going to war with them, they are making a grave and serious error.

Good caller on 98FM about the protest on Saturday
"The only way we'll ever be in this together is if the public sector workers also take a pay cut because until it's financially affecting those people, they'll not understand what it's like for people in business and who are struggling at this present time."

"Why isn't videos being shown of gardaí walloping women? Male gardaí walloping women with batons. I've sent them all to you. You chose to focus in on two women spelling 'their' incorrectly...
"...Look at you peddling the government's propaganda. Why don't you speak about the children that are self-harming. Why don't you talk about the gentleman that committed suicide because he was tired of being on his own."

"If we are stopped at the top of Grafton Street by the gardaí. If they're standing there stopping us peacefully protesting, and at the same time we're being shut down online — our voices are being taken away...if we can't peacefully protest then that's what's going to happen.
"You're going to have people who are angry and frustrated because they can't protest. The gardaí are stopping us peacefully protesting and [we're] being shut down and being censored. We know conservatives and right-wing are being shut down online.
"Anyone who has an opposing view to the government narrative — facebook or twitter are shutting everybody down."

"The reason why people are saying RTÉ are the virus and RTÉ is all propaganda is there's no healthy debate going on.
"All of the doctors and the nurses — the likes of Dolores Cahill, the scientists, the virologists, everybody that's spoken out — RTÉ won't bring them on.
"Why won't they take them on? Why are doctors who are speaking out against NPHET, against all of these restrictions being struck off the medical list?"
Sharlene who says she has vaccine-damaged niece would go on to be cut off by 98FM while questioning vaccine safety for "spreading fear".

A Morrocan man with 22 prior convictions in Ireland but who was released from custody after filing a spurious asylum claim, was today jailed for ten years after he subsequently broke in through the window of a sleeping woman's bedroom and sexually assaulted her as she fought to escape.
The woman described at the Central Criminal Court how she awoke in bed to find Ibrahim Elghynaoui (28) on top of her kissing her with his hand on her throat.
She said she believed she was going die as Elghynaoui then strangled her during a struggle on her bedroom floor.
The woman realised no one was coming to help her so began to fight back by pushing her thumbs into his eyes, kneeing him in the groin and biting him on the hand.
The woman said she told herself: “If you don't get yourself out of this you are going to die.”
Moroccan national Elghynaoui, who was homeless at the time of these offences, has 33 previous convictions across three jurisdictions.
He has 22 Irish convictions for offences such as burglary, possession of a knife and failing to appear in court.
The court heard today that Elghynaoui came to Ireland in 2017 and first appeared on the PULSE system in August of that year.
He has no immigration status to be in Ireland and a deportation application was submitted by gardai in January 2018.
He was in custody on foot of charges in April 2018 and applied for asylum. Elghynaoui was released from custody on the basis of that application but failed to engage with the process and the application was closed.
Another deportation order is currently in place.

Reminder that when a deportation order is issued to someone in Ireland, the obligation is on that person to remove themselves from the state.
While Michael Kirrane, Director General of INIS at the Department of Justice, says many do self-deport, he then clarifies his remark that actually they haven't a notion of the figures because there are zero exit checks at the borders.
This is how someone from Morocco can move to Ireland, receive 22 convictions and subsequently abuse the asylum system to get out of custody while ignoring his deportation order and then go on to attempt to rape a woman as she slept in her bed.
The government does not work to protect you.
