Ireland's Bogus Beggars [TV3 documentary on Roma Gypsies | 2011]

These are clips from a 2011 documentary on Roma Gypsies which aired on TV3 called Ireland's Bogus Beggars.

I doubt it would even be allowed to be made today.

The documentary started out well interviewing numerous high-profile people who all agreed the Roma are a problem and that they engage in organised begging as a racket.

It then interviewed some people who wanted to solve the problem through deportation. They cast them as "far-right extremists" but at least they let them speak. In 2020, they wouldn't get air time.

Towards the end however, the documentary switched gears and finished by claiming that Roma don't engage in organised begging and only individuals do because they suffer discrimination.

I'll stick the full documentary up later.

Tánaiste Simon Coveney told Morning Ireland on RTÉ there are no plans to close our airports or restrict flights between Ireland and the UK and that the risk of contracting Covid-19 is no higher in the UK than it is here.

But Dr Gabriel Scally later on Today with Sean O'Rourke disagreed.

He said the current UK government policy is way out of line with all the rest of the countries of Europe and with the WHO advice.

"It's wrong, completely inadequate and very dangerous."

Anthony Costello, a former director of the WHO said the thinks UK policy is going to accelerate the epidemic in Britain and Dr Scally agreed.

"Their policy is let this fire burn and they will try to damp it down where they can and spread it around."

"If there's one threat to how things are being handled in Ireland, it is the UK position."

"It is clearly a problem"

Leftist lunatics having a day off from fighting the weather are now blocking downing street in "protest" at prime minister Boris Johnson's response to Coronavirus.
Reminder that nations with a strong group identity and social cohesiion are best equipped to survive epidemics:

In Modena, Italy, at around 5 pm on Saturday, a drunk Pakistani walked through the streets of the city center, spitting on random passers-by and shouting “I have coronavirus!”

He also damaged various cars that he came across, Il Giornale reports.

He was taken to a hospital, tested for coronavirus and found not to have it, then harged with causing fear and alarm and disregarding public hygiene regulations.

There is no information regarding what he was doing in Italy in the first place.
