“There are so many Chinese immigrants coming here, Bray has been renamed Breijing"

Anti-Corruption Ireland tackle the Chicom question outside Chicom HQ in Galway.

Fine Gael said removing illegals is necessary to uphold the integrity of the immigration system. By "regularising" 17,000 illegals, they are now admitting it has no integrity.

Old Sinn Féin policy document (dated 1963) on joining the EEC/EU warning of it being a masonic ploy to undermine Catholicism and allow mass immigration.

"relatively high percentage of Sinn Féin supporters who supported Donald Trump"
The MRCI now saying it's impossible to know how many illegals are in ireland until McEntee sets up a scheme to "regularise" them.

They usually cite a figure of 26,000.

Disappointing set of callers in this, probably because it was a midday show.

Two reoccurring arguments:

* What about the illegal Irish in America?
* It's our fault for not deporting them. We can't deport the children now.

On the second argument. This was always the game plan. Never deport anyone, let them have children here and then emotionally blackmail the population.

On the first: There are an estimated 10 to 15 thousand illegal Irish in America. That's .004% of their population.

If we were to believe that Ireland only has 17,000 illegals (even the MCRI have now admitted they have no clue), proportionally that's 87 times the number of Irish illegals in America. If we were legalise proportionally the same number of Irish illegals as are in America, we would only need to give residency permits to 196 illegals here. That wouldn't be much of a problem.

But I don't want clemency for illegal Irish in America, especially as we here are being told we have to suffer the consequences of their actions.

This Councillor thinks that only a sick person would want to give homes to Irish people first.
This guy speaks out for the homeless but it has never occured to him that unrestricted immigration is a major factor is Irish homelessness. It never seems to bother him that the Irish government under instruction from the EU and UN have given away 100,000 units of our housing stock to non nationals.
He is clearly not able to understand the basic rule of supply and demand.
The Irish working class are now in direct competition for jobs, housing and resources with anybody and everybody who lands on our island.
I'll make my point very clear.
Not one foreign national regardless of their situation should be housed before an Irish person. Ever.

There appears to be on omerta on this story in the Irish media.

An asylum seeker at the Atlantic Lodge in Kenmare has been sentenced to two years for sexually assaulting a student in the toilets of a local fast food restaurant in August 2019.

Said Kadmar (35), subsequently fled to the UK but was extradited back to Ireland in December 2019.

With the aid of an Arabic translator, Kadmar pleaded guilty on the second day of his trial after originally entering a not guilty plea.

The court heard that the victim went into the disabled toilet and then the accused approached her and pushed her towards the toilet wall. "I kept trying to push him off but he was stronger than me. He lifted up my skirt and pushed my underwear to one side. I felt him touching my genitals."

The victim says she has stopped socialising since the incident and frequently has nightmares, waking up and thinking there's someone at the end of the bed.

Hold on a minute. I was reliably informed by shitlibs and commies that artificially increasing the population through immigration has no effect on housing. Now the Irish Independent are printing the far right conspiracy theory known as "supply and demand" economics?

"the report suggests the country’s housing needs over the next two decades could vary widely depending on the rate of inward migration – which it sees as the key driver of housing demand.

The higher estimate for housing is based on the population hitting around six million.

Even a less extreme so-called base-line scenario sees a need for 28,000 new homes a year, based on a rise in population by 925,000 between now now 2040.

ESRI researchers think the bulk of the new population, 514,000 people, will be concentrated in and around Dublin and will be the engine of a surge in housing demand in the east and midlands."
