A student who was raped by two Ghanaians in Donegal after she came back to their flat after a night out drinking has said the men had robbed her of the last five years of her life.

The woman, who is now in her 20s, told the court that it was difficult to narrow down into words the effect this has had on her. In her victim impact statement, which she read out before the court, the woman said the experience of being stripped of her clothes in the sexual assault treatment unit to be examined internally and externally was “challenging and humiliating”.

The woman said she was told she had to attend a hospital to be put on anti-HIV medicine because of the ethnicity of the accused. She said she spent the next few months going to hospitals for blood tests and to take medications she had not heard of before she was given the all-clear.

She said that she had already decided if she was diagnosed with HIV she would kill herself. She said she still feels panic and fear around black males.

English woman wants Ireland to deport the Afghan asylum spoofer she brought here

An English woman who was severely beaten by her Afghan husband while she was pregnant causing her to miscarry is calling for him to be deported from Ireland after he was released from prison, saying: “I’m scared he’ll do it again.”

Susan Walmsley said Muhammed Tajik had “groomed” her on Instagram and he “coerced” her to help him move from Turkey over to Ireland where citizenship laws through marriage are not as difficult as the UK.

He was released almost two weeks ago on February 19 after serving two years and two months and Ms Walmsley is concerned he’s again trying to attract women online.

Walmsley told Joe Duffy that Tajik had converted to Mormonism. He has now applied for asylum in Ireland likely on the grounds that he would be persecuted if he returned home.

In fairness to RTÉ, they did a decent job outlining the links between the Clonskeagh mosque and the Muslim Brotherhood and this Prime Time episode aired while the Ibrahim Halawa story was hot and the NGO-media complex were trying to pretend he was a model Irishman who just accidently got caught up on the Muslim Brotherhood side in the siege at a mosque in Cairo in August 2013 while he was trying to go to a cinema on holiday.

Wikileaks revealed that diplomatic cables sent to Washington from Ireland in 2001 raised questions about the mosque's links to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The cables make clear that the US believes Hussein Halawa is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Prof Oliver Sharbrodt also says there is no question the of the Muslim Brotherhood's influence on the mosque as the members of staff have a background in the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and connections still exist. They are also part of European networks of the Muslim Brotherhood like the Federation of Islamic Organisations in Europe.

There is a clear connection between the Mosque and the Muslim Brotherhood through the Council of Fatwas and Research.

The Federation of Islamic Organisations (FIOE) in Europe is an umbrella body for Muslims. One of its leaders, Ahmed Al Rawi, described it as being interlinked with the Brotherhood and "with a common point of view".

The United Arab Emerites have listed the FIOE as a terrorist organisation along with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Clonskeagh's Hussein Halawa visited their conference in 2012. In London, the FIOE set up the Council for Fatwas and Research in 1997. Soon after the Clonskeagh mosque was built, the Council moved there and used it as their European HQ. Hussein Halawa works as their secretary general.
