Indian police on Friday arrested a man accused of causing the death of a pregnant elephant that died after biting a pineapple stuffed with firecrackers that exploded in its mouth. The 15-year-old elephant was unable to eat after the injury and died in a river in Pallakad in southern Kerala state on May 27, state forest officer Surendra Kumar said.

The Irish were protesting new laws to draft men to fight & die in Lincoln's war while the wealthy WASP class could afford $300 to be spared. Black men were excluded from the draft.

Irish workers compared their value unfavourably to that of southern slaves, stating "We are sold for $300 whilst they pay $1000 for negroes."

It was a peaceful protest but some groups came later and torched some WASP-owned buildings and lynched a number of blacks although they were probably incited by far-right protestant supremacists.

The Democratic Party had warned New York's Irish to prepare for the emancipation of slaves and the resultant labour competition. New York journalists criticized the federal govt's intrusion into local affairs on behalf of the "nigger war" and dramatized the "evils" of interracial relationships.

Ultimately federal troops were brought in to regain control which was seen as a normal thing back then. Around 120 were killed, most Irish with 11 blacks.

Few years back African gangs were mugging Irish taxi & delivery drivers at an alarming rate. They would either call a taxi and when it arrived, they'd mug the driver or they'd hail a taxi and ask to be taken to a remote spot. They'd use apps to hail older drivers and often beat them mercilessly. It's still going on..the media doesn't report on it because that might sour the multiculti dream and the eternal black victim narrative.

It got so bad that drivers started refusing to enter certain estates. Gardaí were doing little to stop it. The article above is one of the few times the media mentioned the muggings.

What had happened was one of the ringleaders, a sixteen year old from the Congo (omitted in the report) had his home fire-bombed twice in the same weekend. Guards had a good idea why. Don't know if that put an end to his criminal days but his family did have to move out of their now burned out council home and into emergency accommodation. He got a four year suspended sentence in 2018 for one attack.
