🇾🇪⚡- The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council of Yemen has announced its dissolution. In a statement, the STC has called on former STC forces to cooperate with Saudi-backed Homeland Shield Forces.
"We praise the measures and solutions issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to meet the needs of the sons of the South [of Yemen].
The decision to dissolve the council came in light of recent developments in Hadhramaut and al-Mahrah regions. We did not participate in the decision of the operation in Hadhramaut and al-Mahrah, which harmed the southern cause.
The Southern Council was not involved in the decisions or the military operations of eastern Yemen [last December]," - Southern Transitional Council.
