Yesterday was Burmese new year, marking the entry of the year 1388 in the Burmese calendar.
On the occasion the Minister of Defense of the NUG Yee Mon, man with the uncensored face in the front, has released a statement that with the reformation of the PDF's and newly strengthened alliances with the Kachin, Karen, Chin etc the MOD is currently working on a new national scale military strategy.
Morale amongst many PDF soldiers has been dropping due to the failures of higher command and the bureaucrats in the NUG to properly lead the war against the Junta.
Likely this is the reason for the pretty rapid reforms and reorganizations inside the MOD as they're trying to salvage the situation.

Included in these celebrations is the splashing of water onto themselves to cleanse away the sins and bad luck from the previous year to start cleanly into the new year.

⚡️🇫🇷🇱🇧🇺🇳🇱🇧 French President Emmanuel Macron announced that French Sergeant Chief Florian Montorio of the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment was killed this morning in southern Lebanon during an attack on UNIFIL.
Three of his comrades were wounded and have been evacuated.
France demands that Lebanese authorities immediately arrest the perpetrators and take their responsibilities alongside UNIFIL.
French Minister of the Armed Forces Catherine Vautrin added that Montorio, an experienced non‑commissioned officer, was on a mission to open a route to a UNIFIL post that had been isolated for several days.
He was ambushed by an armed group at very close range and hit by small‑arms fire. He died despite efforts by his comrades.
