IDF: A Failed Projectile Was Launched From Gaza City Toward the State of Israel
A short while ago, a projectile was identified from the area of Gaza City toward the State of Israel.
The projectile fell within the Gaza Strip territory near a hospital.
Shortly after, the IDF precisely struck the launch point.
The IDF strongly condemns any attempts by terrorist organizations to execute terrorist attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.

JASSM/LRASM cruise missiles from 1,100/y to 3,300/y.

Every system of these is on backorder but THAAD which is currently produced at 30% of capacity.

Recently surfaced footage from January 3rd, 2026, during a U.S. military operation against Venezuela, showcases an unidentified projectile being fired/launched into the sky.
Due to the lack of smoke trails identical to those associated with Venezuelan Buk-M2E systems or S-300V units in service, it is likely that the projectile was fired from an Igla MANPADS.
