🇦🇺 📝 Australian firearm associations are starting to challenge state governments on upcoming firearm restrictions, however because we don’t have a bill of rights / constitution like America, our government can pretty much do whatever they want, so most of these challenges will fail/have limited success (e.g: demand the government have better transparency on what they plan to regulate). Firearm manufacturers are also starting to develop more firearms which use loopholes to get around the laws without breaking them.

What kind of an offence she committed that she deserves to be shot like that?
This was clearly not a life threatening situation for the ICE agent. Her intent was obviously to get away, not to run him over. You can even see the wheels turned to the right, as she tried to make the run. If she wanted to hit him, she would have just accelerated straight forward.
Yes, she was wrong to flee. That’s misconduct, but it should be handled legally?
Why not back off, identify the vehicle, and arrest her? How difficult is that? She was a young woman. She wasn’t armed. Not some-kind of a terrorist.

1) First Image: First shot fired… officer is clearly a few feet out of the way and on the driver side, with the drivers wheels fully turned to get away (not hit the officer)
2) Second Image: Second shot is fired by the officer, who is even further away now and actively level with the driver as she still is turning to avoid anyone
3) Third Image: Third and final shot is fired by the officer, as he actively targets her from behind and hits her through the back driver side passenger window
