My take is the position held by the UAE-backed STC is simply intenable, it’s an entire coastline from Aden to the Omani border, and it was such a swift capture by the STC they likely barely had time to consolidate the gain.
I think the STC will focus on the juggernaut of the Saudi-led coalition first in a different front, and come back later.
