A new investigation shows that Intellexa — founded by ex-Israeli intelligence officer Tal Dilian — is still actively running its Predator spyware, despite US sanctions and ongoing probes.

Leaked internal documents reveal that Intellexa keeps buying high-priced zero-day exploits for mobile browsers and using them until they’re discovered and patched.

Google’s Threat Analysis Group confirms that Intellexa deployed a full iOS zero-day chain in the wild to silently install Predator on targeted devices. Delivery happens through one-time links or even zero-click malicious ads (“Aladdin”), where simply viewing an ad can infect a targeted phone.

Intellexa’s leaks showed something everyone should pay attention to: their spyware was pushed through online ads. No clicks, no links, nothing needed from your side— the ad just has to load.

Once Predator is inside a phone, it can do things like:

• read your messages
• see your photos
• listen through the microphone
• track your location
• watch what you type
• turn on the camera
• send the information back to whoever is spying

It basically gives the attacker full access to the phone, as if they were holding it in their hand.

Predator is usually used against journalists, activists, politicians, and people that governments want to watch.
