An updated investigation conducted by the IDF concluded that a HAMAS elements fired an RPG at an armored vehicle in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the injury of five soldiers, and no shaped charge was placed.
The Golani Brigade, stationed east of Rafah, spotted a person covered in a blanket entering a building.
A Namer APC, was sent to the area to search for the suspected element. Then, soldiers on the carrier spotted two elements exiting a tunnel.
One of the HAMAS operatives fired an RPG at the carrier, resulting in the injury of five soldiers, with two of whom was seriously.
