The political shift in the US is growing, the republican party is splitting in real time. If you were to tell me a month ago that Trump would hose down his most loyal supporter in Congress I would have laughed at you. Today’s vote will either kickstart a series of events where republicans will start dissociating with MAGA or it will show how strong the MAGA power is in Congress.🃏
Another thing to note, Trump’s shift to accepting the Epstein files isn't a coincidence. He believes that if he accepts it, people will forget about it and shift the blame to the democratic names on the list, rather than his own.😄
His advisors probably told him to do that and shut up because the more he talks the more guilty he sounds 👀

The US has a concept of balance of powers where a president is permitted to veto a bill that both chambers of Congress passes and sent to his desk.
However, Congress has the constitutional authority to override a presidential veto if both chambers acquire a 2/3rd majority.
At this point, the lower chamber has acquired a veto proof consensus.
The bill will now be sent to the Senate. To be a truly veto proof, super majority, 2/3rds of the senators must also vote in favor.
Guess how many senators are needed?
