The email shows a speech from October of 2014 when Barak served as Defense Minister just after the Hamas-Israel war of 2014.

"During the last three years we have been living through a geopolitical earthquake. The world order which existed since the demise of the Ottoman Empire is collapsing. The Arab Spring appears to have turned into an Islamist Winter. Old tribal and sectarian divides have awakened.
