🥸 3 of the 5 men got the death penalty, while the two others only got long term prison sentences. One of the three had brutally murdered his wife, while the other two killed another man.

🫦 The three were then shortly after executed via firing squad.

✍️ The MNDAA holds events like these regularly to demonstrate the population of their territories, most of which are not part of their primary ethnic Group, Kokang Chinese, the authority and control of the MNDAA

🇷🇺🇲🇲 - The Russian Frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov, from the Russian Pacific Fleet has arrived in Yangon as part of military exercises with the Burmese Navy

🇲🇲🇿🇼🇷🇺 - The Mi-38T, which is the military variant of the MI-38 is only used by Russia and now Myanmar. Zimbabwe also has a MI-38 that Russia gifted them but not the military variant

🤔 Myanmar already operates the MI-17 extensively and already has all the infrastructure for it. And it lost three MI-17's this year to the KIA. So it would be logical to buy those.

👀 The fact that they bought the less used, technically newer but also more untested in actual combat MI-38T likely shows that Russia probably struggles with supplying them with MI-17's which it uses itself extensively
