In 2022, a small US arms company called Firearms won a $1 billion contract to supply weapons to Ukraine, but never delivered them, according to the Financial Times.
The contract provided for the delivery of a huge amount of ammunition: 10 million anti-aircraft shells, 56,000 Grad rockets, and more.
Now, a US federal judge has ordered the company to return the entire amount, plus interest and court costs, bringing the total to over €20 million.
