๐จ๐ฟ CzAF Bell UH-1Y Venom (No.0491) helicopter crashed at crashed at the 22nd Helicopter Base in Nรกmฤลกลฅ nad Oslavou. The less than 3y/o helicopter was carrying 5 soldiers. At least 1 didn't survive.

Preliminary reports suggest the crash occurred during a โquick stopโ manoeuvre, when the pilot attempted to rapidly decelerate and transition into a hover.
The helicopter then reportedly entered an uncontrolled yaw, possibly caused by LTE โ Loss of Tail Rotor Effectiveness.
Investigators must now determine why the crew was unable to recover from the spin and establish the exact circumstances that led to the death of the young servicewoman.

It sounds like there has been some big moves in the North Kordofan region of Sudan!
SAF and allied troops have captured Bara and strategic areas near the town, hopefully opening key supply routes North of El Obeid.
Um Gurfa, Um Sayala and Jabra Al-Sheikh, were apparently also recaptured by the SAF.
The UAE-backed RSFs defenses in the region seem to be collapsing - hopefully this hasn't been overstated

๐ธ๐ฉ โ The Sudanese armed forces and their allied militias are pursuing their offensive against the UAE-backed RSF rebels in the Northern Khordofan region.
RSF forces have been completely rerouted following the collapse of their defense and are now fleeing from the field.

This offensive comes following the rumoured defection of a couple hundred RSF soldiers, with weapons and equipment, near El Obeid during the week, joining the SAF.
In Blue Nile State it's been reported that the SAF are getting closer to taking back Kurmuk, a border city with Ethiopia, essentially surrounded on 3 sides by RSF, with South Sudan's border only 40-50km away.

Just to note, some previous SAF maneuver operations in North Kordofan have proven short-lived, with SAF or Joint Force units eventually withdrawing after attacking and seizing territory, ceding ground back to the RSF.
Therefore it remains to be seen if the operation represents a major breakthrough.

โก๏ธ๐ฉ๐ช German police have identified 21-year-old Abdul B. as the suspect who drove a vehicle into a crowd at the CSD Pride Parade in Berlin, killing one person and injuring 16 others. Police said several of the victims also suffered stab wounds during the attack. He remains at large.
