🚀 The US Air Force is preparing a massive new contract for up to 11,200 JASSM and LRASM cruise missiles over the next 5–7 years.

The planned buy covers:

• JASSM Lots 27–33
• LRASM Lots 13–19
• current and future variants
• including JASSM-XR and LRASM-ER

📈 Deliveries are expected to begin 27 months after contract award.

🇩🇪Germany is allocating 90 million euros to produce fifty thousand of these little machines. That works out to 1,800 euros per drone (bundles warheads and payload integration, testing, logistics, delivery, software licensing fees to Auterion, and the manufacturer's margin).

It takes about 10 drones to take out one infantryman (rounding up), so that's 18,000 euros.

🇷🇺Meanwhile, recruiting a single soldier (in Moscow) costs 5.2 million rubles for the first year alone. Add the cost of training him and supplying him at the front, and you're already at 100,000 dollars. Then there's the death payout if the assault trooper gets killed by a drone, or a disability pension if he's maimed.
