Occupation authorities in the Zaporizhzhia region have urged people not to travel on the highway unless absolutely necessary due to the threat of mines.
According to Governor Yevhen Balitsky, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have deployed a remote-controlled mining system on the highway, and security measures have been stepped up.

The former CEO was sentenced to four years in prison, but has been free pending appeal of his conviction in New York federal court pertaining with securities and wire fraud charges in U.S. District Court Manhattan.
The pardon came two weeks after federal prosecutors urged District Court Judge Edgardo Ramos to order Milton to pay restitution of $680 million to Nikola shareholders, and another $15.2 million to Peter Hicks, a victim of his wire fraud. Because of the pardon, Ramos now cannot order restitution of any kind.
