🇺🇸— Three different generations of Women from the same family have been formally charged in the mistreatment and subsequent death of a child named Jor’Dynn Duncan.

Emily Kelly, 50, of Bayport, was indicted for Murder in the Second Degree and other related charges. Barbara Renner, 75, Kelly’s mother, was indicted for Manslaughter in the Second Degree and another related charge. Elyssa Seymore, 24, Kelly’s daughter, was indicted for Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree and other related charges.

Jor’Dynn was picked up from Paramedics after Kelly called 911 for “cardiac arrest.” But when Jor’Dynn got to the hospital and was confirmed dead on arrival, an autopsy revealed the victim died from a massive untreated infection, the source of which were sharp force injuries. In total, the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office documented approximately 90 injuries on her body at the time of the victim’s death. The findings prompted an investigation by the Suffolk County Police Department’s Homicide Squad.

Jor’Dynn was given to Kelly after a custody case with her father and was under the parental guidance of Kelly from the system. Video evidence recovered from police showed countless videos of the victim being tortured by Kelly and the other women and stored in a cloud for Kelly and the other woman to watch. This all dated back to at least a year of prolonged abuse towards the child. After the death of Jor’Dynn, it was found out that Kelly made up excuses for the victim’s absence from school for more than 40 days to cover up the prolonged abuse.
