The Navy released a 56-page shipbuilding plan. Here is the short version:
The plan calls for a 40% increase in ship production rates and a 55% increase in annual tonnage built.
Because U.S. shipyards are physically limited in size, the Navy wants to move much more construction work outside traditional shipyards — from about 10% today to 50%. This reflects a major push toward distributed shipbuilding.
The Navy is also interested in the GOCO model — government-owned, contractor-operated shipyards — which could allow major yard expansion without placing all the financial risk on private companies.
To build BBG(X) while accelerating other programs, the Navy would likely need to greatly expand nuclear shipbuilding capacity by expanding Newport News, certifying another yard, building an entirely new nuclear-capable shipyard, or some combination of those.

Around $125 billion is planned for submarine construction.
Submarine modules/components are planned to be built in places like Alabama and South Carolina and shipped to Electric Boat and Newport News for final assembly.
For Virginia-class attack submarines, Electric Boat and Newport News each handle about 50% of the work. Current output is around 1.1–1.3 submarines per year, while the requirement is 2.3 per year.
For Columbia-class ballistic missile submarines, Electric Boat handles about 75% of the work. Current output is around 0.4–0.7 submarines per year, while the requirement is 1 per year.

The Arleigh Burke-class destroyer is built at Bath Iron Works and Ingalls. Current output is about 1.5 ships per year, while the requirement is 2 per year. Both yards will need to expand already heavily used distributed infrastructure.
For FF(X) or NSC-sized ships, past production averaged about 0.7 ships per year. The requirement starts at 0.5 per year and grows to 3 per year by 2037. Production is currently at Ingalls, with another shipyard likely to be added, probably Fincantieri, after the Constellation-class frigate failure.
For BBG(X), the required build rate is about 0.5 ships per year.

Moscow needs exactly these kinds of Chechens. Like sacrificial lambs, faithfully marching to their deaths, anywhere in the world, against any people. Without considering whether this is right or what awaits them there.
The occupiers call this indifference "borshallah," "patriotism," and "heroism." But in reality, this is the worst possible end for a person.
