32.9% blame Israel
32.8% blame Hezbollah
12.1% blame all sides

(21.2% is missing and al jadeed doesnt address it so i assume its people who just awnsered “i dont know” or “who are you and how did you get in my house”)

• Most Christians and Druze (50-61%) blame Hezbollah

• 57.7% of Shias blame Israel

• Sunnis are split (39.1% blame Hezbollah, 33% blame Israel)

2- Direct negotiations with Israel:

Maronites: 78% support
Orthodox Christians: 73.6% support
Druze: 72% support
Shias: 92.9% oppose
Sunnis: Once again split (54.4% in favor, 38% opposed)

3- Peace agreement with Israel:

Druze: 84.2% support
Maronites: 76.5% support
Orthodox Christians: 72.2% support
Shiites: 92.1% opposed
Sunnis: Split again (51.6% support, 44.1% opposed)

4- Direct meeting between the Lebanese President/ Prime minister and Israeli Prime Minister:

50% opposed, 50% support

Druze: 82% support
Maronites: 71.8% support
Orthodox christians: 66.7% support
Shias: 93.2% opposed
Sunnis: 52.7% opposed, 39.4% support

5- Normalization and embassy:

Al Jadeed says support for normalization rose from 13.2% in 2025 to 30.4% in May 2026. A majority of 59.3% still oppose it

A minority of 20.9% support opening an Israeli embassy in Beirut, 66.6% are opposed.

6- Hezbollah’s weapons:

58.2% support disarming Hezbollah
34.2% oppose it
7.3% are neutral

Everyone except the shias overwhelmingly supports disarmament (70% of sunnis and druzes and ~80-90% of Christians). Shias overwhelmingly oppose it at 87.5%)

He emphasized that the Russian economy simply cannot withstand a further prolongation of the war:
“Therefore, the swiftest possible conclusion of the special military operation is simply necessary.”
