The AFD last month forced a man who's been in the party for a decade out of his position because he wasn't pro Russian enough

Rüdiger Lucassen, who's a former Bundeswehr Oberst, and was the AFD's defence policy spokesperson since 2017. Last month he had to resign from his position after being forced/bullied out by his own colleagues.

Lucassen is pro-NATO and a Transatlanticist. He supported the reactivation of military service, which the AFD themselves support in their own party program.

However because the AFD are all spineless hypocrites and their party program is apparently not important to them many members have started opposing the reactivation of military service by the current government. They attacked Lucassen for supporting it.

Lucassen also attacked Höcke, the most influential man inside the AFD, in the Bundestag by implying that Höcke is a traitor and thinks Germany isn't worth fighting for.

Inside the AFD's defense policy work group the FSB agents prepared a no confidence motion against him and undermined him. So he preemptively resigned his post after 9 years.

❓Why this happens

Russia retrofits Soviet-era FAB bombs with Taiwanese UMPK glide kits (adding wings and satellite guidance) so they can be launched from Russian territory against Ukraine. The system is imperfect, so bombs sometimes fall short on Russian or occupied land. Authorities typically try to hide these incidents or blame Ukrainian strikes when civilians are hit.
