Ukrainian troops routed Swedish forces during NATO drills simulating a Russian attack on Gotland, AP reported. The exercise focused on defending the strategic Baltic island and brought in Ukrainian troops to sharpen NATO’s drone warfare skills. One Ukrainian operator said Sweden paused the drill 3 times to adjust, but in real combat, those troops would have died. Sweden’s commander said NATO must learn drone operations and countermeasures fast from Ukraine.
