Identified as Erfan Shakourzadeh, it is claimed that in his confession he said to work with a scientific organisation involved in satellite ⁠activities and had shared classified scientific ⁠information with foreign intelligence services.

Iran Human Rights Society standing up for Shakourzadeh, says he is a 29-year-old graduate of aerospace engineering, but was arrested in ⁠2025 and was forced into his confession.

🇨🇳🇹🇼— China announces that it will not allow Taiwan to participate in the 79th assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO). Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiankun claims this was made to uphold the "one-China" principle, basically reiterating that Taiwan doesn’t have the ability to participate without the central government's approval.

Taiwan's Health Minister, Shih Chung-liang, basically dismissed Guo’s statements. Claiming himself that he will lead a delegation to Geneva anyway.
