🇧🇫 - Several clans/families in the town of Solhan in Burkina Faso have joined JNIM (Al Qaeda) after the Junta ignored the populaces request for the supply of food and medicine.

🏳️ JNIM stepped in and supplied the populace with the requested food and medicine, after which many young men joined their ranks.

👀 The state is not able to give basic necessities to the people, so the people go to groups that are able to do so.

🇲🇱 JNIM has also started using a new tactic in Mali.

👀 They have started targeting fuel trucks importing fuel and other supplies into the landlocked country

⚠️ This forces the already overstretched Malian Junta to dedicate more forces on escorts and the mere threath of an JNIM ambush already scares away quite a few drivers.

📉 I don't think I even have to explain the potential economic damage if this tactic succeeds but it would be immense
