Several OSINT channels claims this is the footage of IRGC shooting down a USAF A-10C "Warthog" close support aircraft, however this is not true for several things.

1. The silhoutte of the targeted aicraft visible on the air defence reticle/targeting systems does not match with an A-10.
3. Do note the V-tail vertical stabilizer, the fuselage, and wings, which matches perfectly with an MQ-9.
2. IRGC claims that it was in fact an MQ-9 "Reaper" combat drone that was downed.

The IRGC Air Defense Forces successfully shot down two cruise missiles over Khomein and Zanjan, two MQ-9 Reaper attack drones over Isfahan, and a Hermes drone over Bushehr, using advanced air defense systems and under the supervision of the country's integrated air defense network.

The IRGC Air Defense Forces also successfully destroyed an advanced enemy warplane in central Iran.

With the continued innovative, continuous, and precise monitoring by the heroes of the Iranian air defense, Iran's skies will become increasingly dangerous for enemy warplanes.
