I just found out that this entire nonsense is funded by Hungarian taxpayers

The event is organized by an NGO called Center for Fundamental Rights which is closely tied to Orban which gets funding directly from the Hungarian treasury.

The Center for Fundamental rights refuses to disclose how much they spend on these events but it's in the millions according to estimates.

Which means the already impoverished Hungarian taxpayer from over two decades of Orban running the country into the ground has to finance a bunch of disgusting freaks coming to his country to jack off about how great they are and how they are simultaneously victims.

All this so Orban can further his ties and have some publicity ahead of the upcoming elections

Also an Israeli intelligence firm was caught interfering in the Slovenian elections

They are helping the right wing pro-Israeli opposition party in hopes they will form the next government

The current Slovenian government recognized Palestine back in 2024 and has been one of the more Israeli skeptical governments

An Israeli company named Black Cube, founded by IDF personnel, who engages in private intelligence has been accused of wiretapping and covert surveillance of high ranking Slovenian politicians, this according to the country's law enforcement. These recordings were then published online on various websites. The footage includes them talking about corruption, bribery, lobbying etc etc.

A report published by investigative journalists claims that representatives of Black Cube, including it's CEO Dan Zorella and Giora Eiland the former head of the Israeli National Security council, had arrived in Slovenia back in December last year and met with SDS officials.

This was confirmed by Vojko Volk, the Slovenian state secretary for national and international security. He said on December 11th the delegation spent a long period of time on the same street on which the headquarters of the SDS, the right wing pro-Israeli opposition party, are located.

The current government accuses the SDS and the Israeli company of colluding in order to give SDS the edge in a very competitive election that will be carried out tomorrow.

Black Cube previously worked for Harvey Weinstein in order to monitor and spy on people that had accused him of sexual crimes in order to gain information on them.

Black Cube operatives have also previously been sentenced in Romania where they were spying on the anti-corruption chief of the country.

Additionally they worked for Orban in order to dig up dirt on public opponents of him

Other incidents are also known but the list is already long enough

TLDR: European pro-Israeli political organizations work together with an Israeli spy firm with deep ties to the state of Israel to gain an political advantage

In Slovenia this is especially concerning as it may very well be as a form of punishment for recognizing Palestine
