This appears to be linked to a policy Iran announced earlier.
According to reports, the following countries have been granted permission to transit the Strait:
1. China
2. India
3. Pakistan
4. Turkey
Because the tanker was Pakistani, it was allowed to pass safely.
There’s another interesting takeaway from this development:
If naval mines had been widely deployed in the Strait, ships would be avoiding the route entirely.
The fact that a tanker was able to pass through suggests that large-scale mine deployment may not have happened (at least not yet).
For now, the Strait appears partially controlled rather than fully closed.

She was left hospitalised with serious injuries.
The girl had been followed and harassed for about 25 minutes through Broadmead and Cabot Circus. She ran into the Zara store for safety. Instead of protecting her, security escorted her out alone — straight into the waiting group of attackers.

🇺🇸Many, including me, have been shitting on the US a lot lately. Therefore, I want to share this JFK speech from 1961 and write down some thoughts to acknowledge the great past of the country.
Seems like JFK was the last American president. It feels like JFK was the last American president who spoke with a clear sense of purpose. National independence in foreign policy, great vision of national purpose. America back then kinda hits different, I must admit.
After the 1960s, US presidents became more constrained by institutions, LOBBYING *cough cough, and bureaucracy. The presidency no longer acts as independently as people imagine, I honestly don't know who they are being led by and what is in these leaders’ heads.
Following the news lately, especially listening to Trump, has been very disturbing and painful. I can't believe to what the US has degraded to. I would be ashamed if I was an American.
American presidency went from this to being the clown of the world.
