Gery obviously know the conflict better but I do believe a Myanmar post junta, if that happen, will be an even more bloody and sectarian civil war.

Right now the PDF is the only true unifying faction of the conflict, all other look out for their own interests, more crack in this whole alliance might appears soon.

I would have agreed with you a while back but the NUG is actually enacting solid measures meant to prevent this

What one shouldn't forget is that despite most EAO's today being more similar to drug peddling warlords they started for good reasons.

Myanmar is a very ethnically diverse place while simultaneously having a large enough majority ethnic population able to oppress everyone else

Most EAO's started out of a very real desire for autonomy and a way to preserve their culture and escape discrimination by the majority Bamar population

The NUG have already made it very clear that if they were to win the war they would reform Myanmar into a federation with very high levels of autonomy for the minority populations

Additionally never before have the Bamar majority and various minority populations been so interconnected due to the fact that most members of the PDF's were trained by EAO's

The NUG and various affiliated organizations are making good progress in strengthening the unity of the various peoples in Myanmar

Additionally much of the inter ethnic hatred is strategically stoked by the Junta/Tatmadaw

While ofc historic hatreds and grievances exit the military is very much making it worse by inflaming ethnic hatred so they can profit from it

By playing the various ethnic minorities off of each other they can ensure that the various ethnic groups can't ally to take down the junta

In Chin state this can be seen where the Junta allies themselves to certain Chin tribes like the Zomi who fear getting dominated by other Chin tribes more than they fear the Junta

If you take out the organization which has for decades now artificially inflamed ethnic tensions so they can retain power you are already taking a massive step in a positive direction
