🇺🇸Polling has shown dismally low support among Americans for strikes against Iran, with about 42 percent of Republicans saying they would be less likely to support the attack if it led to “US troops in the Middle East being killed or injured”.

🇮🇱In contrast, 93 percent of Israelis back Israel’s assault on Iran, the Times of Israel reported.

In late 2024, as the rebel coalition (led by HTS) launched its offensive, members of Ajnad al-Kavkaz, including the ones who had been in Ukraine were let to re-enter Syria. Their experience was utilized during the crucial Battle of Allepo in November 2024 which broke the regime's back.

IDF pilot must be one boring job.

Dropping 5000 munitions in Iran and flying 5h round missions with not much more excitement than air-refueling.

🇮🇷🇺🇸Iranian "Shahed" drones pose a serious threat, and US air defenses may not be able to cope with this challenge — CNN

▪️Trump administration officials told lawmakers during a closed-door briefing at the Capitol on Tuesday that Iranian Shahed drones pose a serious problem and that US air defenses will not be able to intercept them all.

▪️The drones, as acknowledged by Defense Secretary Pete Hagseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Keane, pose a greater problem than anticipated. They fly low and slow, making them more capable of evading air defenses than ballistic missiles. Another source familiar with the briefing said officials tried to downplay concerns about drones.

"We don't have unlimited supplies. The Iranians have the ability to produce large numbers of Shahed drones, medium- and short-range ballistic missiles, and they have huge stocks. So at some point... it becomes a math problem: how can we replenish our air defense ammunition stocks. Where are they going to come from?" said Senator Mark Kelly, a Democrat from Arizona who serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Ultimately, the energy industry will benefit from Trump’s actions with respect to Iran, because Iran will no longer be controlling the Strait of Hormuz and restricting the free flow of energy.

I wasn't aware of Iran closing or even restricting movement in the Strait of Hormuz before you attacked it.

Like 7 tankers over 2 decades were seized by Iran.

US intelligence assessments released in 2025 (❗️Under Trump )and early 2026 found that Iran was still many years away from developing a missile capable of reaching the US mainland.

2025 Defense Intelligence Agency report estimated that, using its current technology, Iran would likely not have a militarily viable intercontinental ballistic missile until around 2035.

Even in a best-case scenario for Iran such as receiving significant technical help from countries like North Korea or China it would still take at least eight years to field an operational missile capable of reaching the United States.

3.1/ Azerbaijan will try its luck and invade the Azeri region of Iran.
I personally don’t see any other reason for a potential deployment honestly, unless they wanna invade Armenia to connect with their enclave

🇮🇷💣🇺🇸
Iran did indigenously launch 150kg satellite into LEO overflying the earth.

💥
This could mean kinetic or small explosive charge with rough equivalent of 1t of TNT in mostly kinetic energy.

☢️
For nuclear re-entry vehicle 500kg and up wound be needed.

🔍🇮🇷🚀💣🇺🇸
So yes Iran can theoretically attack mainland US with a missile.
