A Kuwaiti F/A-18 Hornet shot down three friendly American F-15E Strike Eagles on Sunday, according to the Wall Street Journal
According to an American official, one F/A-18 fired three missiles at the F-15s, all three planes were shot down and crashed, but their pilots managed to eject.
The incident occurred shortly after several Iranian drones entered Kuwaiti airspace, one of which hit a commercial port and killed six American servicemen, and Kuwaiti officials, seeing the approaching aircraft on their radars, opened fire on them.
