The U.S Department of War has identified four of the six U.S service members killed in an Iranian drone strike. All four came from the 103rd Sustainment Command out of Des Moines, Iowa.

- Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa.
- Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Neb.
- Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minn.
- Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Fla.

All four were Reservists. They were stationed in a temporary Tactical Operations Center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, when an Iranian drone struck the complex killing six and wounding dozens more.

The drone managed to fly and strike undetected was likely due to the fact that the U.S military failed to inform them in advance and that it was a temporary tactical post, which is a container shelter that was set up in a short time offering zero protection against a direct hit.
