FYSA, Military History is run by Rainn, who has been with us for years. He has worked behind the scenes for a long time providing lots of background history information and is very good at what he does

If we all weren’t such techno-troglodytes we’d have already made a folder with his channel.

But since we haven’t, take a look at his work sometime, and give him a follow if you like it!

Hebrew media Channel 12:

Before the launch of Operation "Gideon's Chariots 2", IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir made a statement behind closed doors with Israeli cabinet, discussing with what can be achieved practically:

"We are committed to the objectives of the war as defined by the cabinet, but HAMAS will not be defeated militarily and politically even after the operation to occupy Gaza City."

To defeat HAMAS, the IDF will have to operate from Gaza city to the main refugee camps, especially since, after the operations and cleansing, the IDF will have to control the area from a civilian perspective as well.

🤠 Doha, Qatar- the Arab – Muslim summit has commenced, with an initial draft of the convention made available to media.

⚖️The main purpose of the summit concerns Israel in general and specifically their attempted assassination strike of Hamas political negotiators on Qatari soil

📢“The brutal Israeli attack on Qatar and the continuation of Israel’s hostile acts including genocide, ethnic cleansing, starvation, siege, and colonizing activities and expansion policies threatens prospects of peace and coexistence in the region and threatens everything that has been achieved on the path of normalizing ties with Israel including current agreements and future ones,”

😱We have come a very long geopolitical way since 6 October when Saudi Arabia was on the verge of normalizing ties with Israel, and exerting its influence for other GCC states to do the same

🇸🇰 Pavol Gašpar, Director of the Slovak Information Service, had an accident in his very unusual car for Slovakia in the city of Nitra on 30th august.

According to witnesses, Gašpar was speeding through a roundabout and crashed into a car, injuring a minor. The Slovak police initially reported the incident publicly, but are now beginning to cover it up.

This comes during an unpopular and ineffective consolidation. The incident has hurt the popularity and public opinion of Robert Fico's ruling party, Smer-SD, furthering the steady decline the party suffers.

🇮🇷 🪧 Protests happening in Iran

Tehran - Protests occurred due to unpaid wages at a financial organisation which is run by the state.

Isfahan - Protests occurred due to retirees not receiving their pension from the government.

✍️ As the Iranian economic crisis worsens more protests are expected.

🇳🇵Katmandu, Nepal- Practically hours after the successful conclusion of the “Gen-Z Protest,” activitists took toon to the streets once again, this time to clean and restore

🤪In a wild overthrow that saw at least 51 people killed, most politicians’ residencies touched, the PM’s resignation, finance minister stripped to his undies and beaten in the streets, the people of Nepal immediately began work to move the country forward.

📱Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki (who was elected and certified via group chat app Discord) has committed to rebuilding destroyed infrastructure

✍️ In the German state of NRW there were elections today

👀 Nearly all votes are counted by now so I thought I'd give you a little overview

🥸 As of 23:30 local time (20 minutes ago):

CDU 33.3%
SPD 22.1%
AFD 14.5%
Greens 13.5%
Left 5.6%
FDP 3.7%
Others 7.3%

📊 The only two parties to have made gains compared to the last election are the AFD and Left party, the rest all performing worse than 3 years ago

Something interesting I found

18% of people under 25 voted for the Left party, however overall it only got 5.6% of the vote

This once again shows the disparity in the voting between generations

The federal elections in February already showed it but here it's proven again

Old people prefer to vote for more established, centrist and less radical parties like the CDU and SPD

While the youth prefers the more radical and less established AFD and Left party

🇺🇸⚡️🇻🇪 My retarded opinion regarding the tension between the United States and Venezuela:

With the ongoing tension in the Caribbean and the large US naval deployment, it’s pretty much obvious that the US military is about to attack the Bolivarian regime of Venezuela under the pretext of combating drug cartels, but why?

Venezuela has been a decade-long enemy of the United States ever since the election of Hugo Chavez, one nation openly challenging the Monroe Doctrine and allying itself with states like Russia, China, or Iran, and one could ask why the US would decide to strike now and why Venezuela's allies are not doing anything to stop it.

The short answer is because they are crappy allies, as we saw with Russia and Iran + busy with their own war + what the hell can they do to help a South American state?

The long answer for me relies on the concept of the multipolar world, a world ruled by regional powers all having their sphere of influence rather than one single entity (the US) having absolute domination.

America’s letting go of Ukraine might be part of a broader deal with Russia, one where the US would take care of its regional adversary without Russia interfering (other than the usual BS declarations), which falls under the idea of the US accepting the multipolar world and its place in it.

BUT I also believe the Trump administration is clearly fucking around with Russia, because a dying empire never goes down without a fight (unless it’s the British), and a recent diplomatic move like the securing of the Zangezur corridor in the freaking Caucasus, aka Russia’s backyard, doesn’t look like they are ready to give up on their global hegemony at all.

For me it’s a run for who is going to destroy its neighbors the fastest, Russia with Ukraine or Uncle Sam with Venezuela, because the one finishing first will have enough maneuvering space to fuck with the other.

If Russia wins, they can escalate and pressure the rest of Europe and NATO while the US is busy; if the US wins, they can resume help toward Ukraine and green-light deep strike in Russia by giving ISR.
