There is currently a standoff near Myawaddy in the Karen lands between the Junta and parts of the former Karen Border Guard Force who have cut ties with the Junta

I'm going to be honest with you, I honestly can't keep up with what's what in this situation as there is such a massive amount of different Karen organizations and a confusing back and forth in their status.

The situation as far as I can understand it is: The Karen BGF split off from the Junta a while ago, however after the Junta managed to regain control over Myawaddy from the rebels some former BGF members went back to the Junta(?). However others remained independent as the KNA, the leaders of those men that remained independent then declared the areas under them either fully independent or autonomous, the junta rejected this and gave them a deadline to disband and rejoin the junta

The deadline has not been met and now both sides are there not willing to make the first move, junta is sending more reinforcements to the area, including armed vehicles

We'll have to see how the situation develops.

— Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie have sent a letter to the Department of Justice's Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche requesting review of unredacted versions of the Epstein documents due to some either being fully redacted or being unredacted to the point survivors' identities are revealed.

It is also mentioned that interviews to Epstein survivors conducted by the FBI during their Florida and New York investigations are completely redacted.

✍️ The regional block ASEAN has refused to recognize the recent sham elections of the Myanmar's Junta however they added that it's just "as of now" which suggests that this might change in the future.

🤡 Myanmar is part of ASEAN, however ASEAN has a very strict and official "non-interference" policy which is codified into the organization, so the other member states just pretty much pretend that nothing is going on in Myanmar.

🇹🇭 Thailand especially is disgusting in it's behavior with Thailand being one of the main 4 suppliers of arms, equipment and fuel to the Myanmar Junta. These transactions all go through Thai companies but it's obvious there's governmental approval.

📈 The only ones in ASEAN that get the Openly Biased shout-out are Singapore.

🇸🇬 Singapore used to work closely with the Myanmar military industrial complex during the democratic period in the country, however after the coup the Singaporean government changed their position. After catching Singaporean companies supplying the Junta the government cracked down and registered supplies dropped by over 90%.

The 156-page document, whose authenticity the AfD has indirectly confirmed, proposes revoking refugee status for Ukrainians, ending social benefits, and launching a “reemigration” campaign in Saxony-Anhalt, alongside a federal push for “voluntary return” to Ukraine.

The programme also supports maintaining and expanding Russian language lessons in schools, resuming school exchanges with Russia, lifting sanctions on Moscow, restarting Russian energy imports, and reviving the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
