Bug report: For our early users of ow.finance, the Total Earn column is not currently showing you actual earnings from your portfolio. We are aware of this bug and will fix it with out official launch in a few days. Thank you for your early support. 🌕

Bug report: the Actual APR in the Portfolio page is not showing the correct APR. It should be significantly higher. If you click on the Invest, the estimated APRs for each of the liquidity pools are listed under Portfolio detail. This is a UI bug, and your Actual APR is the aggregate of those diversified pools. We are working on fixing it and will let you know once it's done. Thank you for your support 🌕

OpenWorld Finance Announces Closure of ow.finance Platform

January 18, 2025 - OpenWorld Finance announces the closure of its crypto investing platform, ow.finance.

Despite the team's dedicated efforts to develop an innovative product aimed at optimizing returns for liquidity providers, we have decided to shut down the platform by 15 March 2025. During the 6+ months since launch, ow.finance served dozens of users and achieved a TVL of over $200,000. But it was unable to find product market fit during the fast moving crypto market cycle. The decision comes with a shift of focus on exploring a potential sale or strategic partnerships that align with the future vision of OpenWorld Finance.

Important Dates for Users:
Withdrawal Deadline: All users are strongly advised to withdraw their funds from ow.finance by March 15, 2025. We want to assure our community that all funds are safe, and the process for withdrawal will be supported until the deadline. Afterwards, funds may still be withdrawn directly from the smart contract.

The Journey of ow.finance:
The ow.finance platform was built with the goal of providing DeFi users with tools to minimize risks such as impermanent loss, smart contract risks, and liquidity risks through automation, and by offering access to leverage for leveraged farming and various other financial instruments. Our team has worked tirelessly to create a platform that not only serves the immediate needs of its users but also pushes the boundaries of what decentralized finance can achieve.

Future Directions:
While we are shutting down the ow.finance platform, the management team at OpenWorld Finance is actively seeking avenues for a strategic sale or partnerships that will allow us to continue our mission in the broader DeFi ecosystem.
