π£οΈ Roles and Scripts: On Identity and Gender
Many of us grew up with unspoken scripts about who we should be, how to take up space, express emotions, love others, or define our worth. Some were taught to be silent providers, others to be selfless nurturers. But when these expectations begin to constrain rather than guide, what does it mean to reclaim our own narratives?
Roles and Scripts: On Identity and Gender is a gathering that explores how gender norms and social expectations shape identity, relationships, and everyday experiences. Through conversation and reflection, the session invites participants to question inherited roles and imagine more authentic ways of being rooted in who we are, rather than who we were told to become. π¬
This programme is part of a wider series of gatherings held alongside the launch of the second volume of @thewhitebooksg π
