The Poverty Line – A Global Visual Art Research Project on Poverty and Food Choices

The Poverty Line uses the universal lens of food to examine the daily choices we would face living at the poverty line. From 2010 to 2020, the artists (Chow and Lin) travelled 200,000 km to create case studies of 36 countries and territories.

It is a growing conversation that questions understandings of poverty and inequality, traversing cultures and economic systems. In this seminar, Chow and Lin share about their work and its impacts across the globe.
