Do you know why the fingers of God and Adam in Michelangeloβs famous painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel do not touch?
In the painting, Godβs finger is fully extended, while Adamβs finger appears slightly relaxed, not reaching out with the same intensity.
The image can be understood as a reflection on the relationship between God and humanity: God is always near, but the final step belongs to the human being. If a person truly desires to reach God, they must extend their hand. Yet one can also go through life with a passive, unextended hand, never fully seeking that connection.

The natural dyeing of Easter eggs using onion skins and plant materials is a practice known for centuries across many European cultures.
Onion skins contain, among other compounds, quercetin, a flavonoid that is released into the water during boiling and acts as a natural dye. Depending on its concentration and the duration of boiling, it produces shades ranging from yellow-brown to deep brown.
The eggshell, composed primarily of calcium carbonate, has a porous structure, which allows dye molecules to penetrate and permanently color the surface.
Patterns are created by placing leaves against the shell and securing them with a piece of fabric (such as gauze or nylon). The covered areas remain lighter because the dye cannot reach them β this is a resist dyeing technique, also known from other fields such as batik.
This method exemplifies the use of natural plant-based substances for dyeing, a practice that existed long before the widespread introduction of synthetic dyes in the 19th century.βοΈ

In churches across France, the Easter Vigil remains one of the most powerful nights of the year.
A single light pierces the darkness.
Thousands of voices unite to welcome hope.
This year, over 21,000 people will enter the Church β
carrying their stories, their wounds, and their desire for a new beginning.
Candles are lit one by one.
The light spreads.
From night to day.
From death to life.
And when the light returns β
the heart rises with it.

Children, sons, daughters, grandchildren, little grandchildrenβ¦ all of them are our joy and our hope for a better worldβ¦ Right now, we need to be more attentive to them than to ourselvesβ¦ This is a warning signal for the whole Earth when it comes to childrenβ¦ And I wonβt go into details.

I am the planet Earth
I have drawn no lines or borders, raised no flags, nor called for wars that divide people. Everything I am, I offer unconditionally: my clear rivers, my deep oceans, my majestic mountains, my whispering forests, and the beauty of every petal, every cry of a wild creature.
My nature is a gift. My heart is open.
Children understand meβthey play with the wind, dance in the rain, laugh with the sun.
But somewhere, a seed has not yet sprouted: the seed of awareness. It still lies dormant within humanity. For trees, birds, and oceans follow the thread of life without ever tearing it apart.
Today, I make a living appeal to all humankind:
May the one who finds this forgotten seed of awareness sow it everywhere, with courage and with love. And may this seed grow and take deep root.

Life doesnβt divide itself into meaningful and meaningless partsβwe do.
We draw imaginary boundaries.
We decide that the meditation cushion is sacred, but the line in the supermarket is not;
that a spiritual breakthrough is profound, while washing the dishes is just a tedious task.
But the deeper truth is this: the whole of life is sacred. Especially the parts we reject, avoid, or feel ashamed of.
The forgotten corners of our days, the errands, the quiet moments, the small everyday gestures, the fleeting moments we so easily overlookβhere, love quietly and gently shines.
Notice it. Grace is everywhere.
